Univerus Sport Roadmap for 2023

We’re beyond excited to unveil our very first Univerus Sport roadmap!  We have big  plans for development and expansion, and we’re proud to let you know that we’ll be releasing our annual roadmap at the start of every calendar year moving forward. This will give you complete transparency and allow you to prepare for the upcoming year like never before.

  • Athlete Portal Improvements: Our team has enhanced the athlete portal by adding features like files, links library, department announcements, and staff directory. This update enables athletes to access information faster and more easily. (COMPLETED January 2023)
  • Wellness Module: We have introduced a wellness module to help athletes track their physical and mental health. This feature is available for all our clients. Reach out to support@univerussport.com to learn how to configure and use this new module (COMPLETED March 2023)

Q1 2023

  • Association/Governing Body Functionality: We are improving workflow and adding features and sports administration tools to better serve various governing bodies and associations and their athletes, coaches, and member institutions/schools.

Q2 2023

  • Coach Customization: We are rebuilding our coaching platform and registration process to resemble our Athlete process.  This update is intended to make the system more adaptable to different types of coaches allowing our administrators to collect a wide range of data & information from staff or volunteer coaches.
  • Team Calendars Functionality: Our team calendars functionality will enable coaches to organize practices, games, and events more efficiently. This feature aims to help teams save time and reduce scheduling conflicts.
  • High School Sport Zone (HHSZ) Product Integrated into Univerus Sport: We are integrating the High School Sport Zone product into our Univerus Sport , which will provide our Univerus Sport clients with schedules, games, score reporting and other related league management tools.

Q3 2023

  • Custom Reporting for Registration Data: Our custom reporting feature will allow our clients to select fields in order to export and generate reports. This update is intended to make the reporting process more flexible and efficient.
  • Flexible Reminder Tools for Metrics: We understand that reminders are essential when it comes to athlete and coach management. Therefore, we are introducing flexible reminder tools for metrics to ensure that our users can easily alert their athletes or coaches of missing piece of information to make them eligible.
  • Injury Tracking for Athletes: Our injury tracking feature will help administrators track injuries, and recovery progress. This feature will enable coaches and other staff members to monitor the health of their athletes better.

Q4 2023

  • French Language Support: We are introducing multilingual support primarily for French-speaking users. This update will enable users to access the platform in their preferred language.
  • Custom Forms Functionality: Our custom forms functionality will allow users to create customized forms for various purposes like exit interviews, mid-year requests of athletes, etc. With this update, users will be able to collect customized data more efficiently from their student-athletes.
  • Athlete Profile Improvements: We are enhancing the athlete profile by adding features like head shots, multiple years displayed etc. This update will make athlete profiles more comprehensive and detailed and set the foundation for the entire athlete-life cycle.
  • Academic Tracking: We are working on introducing academic tracking to help athletes track their academic progress. This update aims to provide coaches and administrators with more comprehensive insights into their athletes’ lives and help them support their overall development.
